ARPA National Staff

ARPA National employs a CEO, Executive Officer and Awards & Careers Coordinator. The staff of ARPA National supports the Councils on both National and Branch level in the execution of their strategies and goals.

ARPA National CEO: Nathan Clarke

Nathan was appointed as the ARPA National CEO in October 2016. Prior to his appointment to this role, Nathan was the inaugural Executive Director of the Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF), a role he held for approximately 10 years.

Nathan is an innovative and flexible executive who with integrity and a consultative approach has achieved success through strong business acumen, brand management and digital marketing, stakeholder engagement skills, a practical approach to new business development and improving internal processes.


Executive Officer: Amanda Whittingham

Amanda Whittingham was appointed to the ARPA National Executive Team in February 2018 and was recently promoted to the newly created Executive Officer role. Amanda contributes to ARPA National a range of skills and experience including event management, marketing and communications, not-for-profit and member experience excellence. Working closely with ARPA's State and Territory Branches, Amanda is the point of contact for all professional development initiatives, the national webinar program, the Excellence Awards program and all membership needs nationally.


Awards and Careers Coordinator: Kat Birchley

With her significant experience in event management, Kat is responsible for co-ordinating all ARPA Awards. Kat is also responsible for promoting relationships with Australian allied health schools, including organising attendance at careers events, creating opportunities to engage with students and enhance their curriculum, and management of ARPA’s careers website careersinworkplacerehab.com.au and jobs board.
